We feel honoured and privileged by God to introduce SAINT, starting on 20 March 2021.
QUESTION, QUESTION, QUESTION
Covid-19 and the accompanying economic difficulties, coupled with social upheavals and natural disasters around the world, have revealed how vulnerable, shakeable, and powerless we can be in these last days of intensifying birth pangs, especially with the prophetic developments of Revelation coming into sharp focus.
Have you ever asked God or yourself these questions?
- What is God speaking to us through the pests, pestilence, disasters, and socioeconomic upheavals towards the end of 2019 and throughout 2020?
- How should we prepare for the intensifying birth pangs – from the seals to the mark of the beast written in the book of Revelation – in these last days, as individuals, families, and churches?
- Can we build an unshakeable Kingdom-community that is founded on peer-to-peer learning, discipleship, mentoring, and support for holistic and missional living in the end-times?
- How can we use our God-given talents in the marketplace and missional fields for Kingdom-transformation of nations?
- How can we do the works that Jesus did, and build the church that He is building, such that the gates of hell (whether Anti-Christ, beasts, enemies, pestilence, or disasters, etc.) cannot prevail against us?
If you desire to be the answer to the above questions, then read on.
TYRANNUS IN EPHESUS
Acts 19:8-12, 17-20
And he entered the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God. But when some were becoming hardened and disobedient, speaking evil of the Way before the people, he withdrew from them and took away the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus. This took place for two years, so that all who lived in Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks. God was performing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out… This became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who lived in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all and the name of the Lord Jesus was being magnified. Many also of those who had believed kept coming, confessing and disclosing their practices. And many of those who practiced magic brought their books together and began burning them in the sight of everyone; and they counted up the price of them and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing.
Can you imagine a Bible school community so fruitful in its spiritual development and impactful in its social transformation that, not only the disciples of Apostle Paul did great exploits in their own city, but the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing amongst all who lived in Asia Minor within two years of “reasoning daily” in the school? Consider the immensity of it even with today’s technologies.
Herein lies the vision, foundation, and mission of SAINT.
SAINT
The school of Tyrannus in Ephesus was an apostolic school with a difference. It had teaching and reasoning; it had discipleship and mentoring; it had equipping and training; and it had prevailing Spirit-dynamics for Kingdom-impact on societies within a large geographical region.
SAINT is an “Acts-19 School of Tyrannus”-style apostolic community, with teaching and reasoning; discipleship and mentoring; equipping and training; and prevailing Spirit-dynamics for Kingdom-impact on society as its holistic mission.
SAINT is the acronym for School of Apostolic Impact for Nation Transformation. It is an apostolic community with a fivefold mission that can be summarised as follows:
SAINT = Community Building + Knowledge Sharing + Spiritual Formation + Wisdom Impartation + Kingdom Mission
- Community Building: Reimagining and fostering apostolic communities of believers like the days of ‘Acts’.
- Knowledge Sharing: Teaching and peer-to-peer learning of the Word of God and truths of the Spirit.
- Spiritual Formation: Maturing as disciples of Christ to make disciples of Christ in the image of Christ
- Wisdom Impartation: Equipping skills and imparting wisdom for excellence and breakthrough in the marketplace and missional fields.
- Kingdom Mission: Increasing the government of Christ and of peace over the seven mountains of culture in nations, with end-times in view.
KAIROS SEASON OF SAINT
As the second coming of Christ beckons, there is a strong stirring by the Spirit in the spirits of saints across the nations to rise to their glorious destiny in Christ and mature sonship in the Father.
There is a deep longing in the heart of the bride to be made perfect and pure in the image and likeness of her Bridegroom by the Perfecter of their faith.
There is a renewed sense of urgency to fulfil the Antioch call of Singapore, so as to bring about the increase of the government of Christ and of peace in the nations without bounds.
There is an intense groaning in the nations of the world and elements of the earth to be set free into the freedom of the Son of God in the sons of God.
There is a passionate desire to consummate all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth.
It is for such times and purposes that SAINT exists.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Bible says that “we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Throughout SAINT, you will learn all that God has prepared before the foundation of the world so that you can walk in them. Once you understand God Himself, His narrative, His design for the earth, His purpose for humanity, and His works through His Son, you can walk effectively and fruitfully according to His original intent and predestined will, whether as an individual, a family, a church, a workplace in the marketplace, or a mission field.
Throughout SAINT, you will partake of the sanctifying works of the Author and Perfecter of our faith, so that you can conform to His image and likeness, and become the perfect workmanship of the Potter.
Throughout SAINT, you will be equipped with tools and skills, and be guided with wisdom and expertise, to do good works in your home, office, and community, so that all the families and people groups of the earth will be blessed in you.
In short, SAINT is more than a Bible-study class, ministry school, or leadership course; SAINT is an apostolic community that imparts knowledge and shapes holistic lives for Christlike living and Kingdom-impact in society.
MODES
There are two cores in SAINT: Combined Class (CC) and Discipleship / Mentoring Groups (DMGs). All saints in CC are divided into DMGs based on certain criteria like age, vocation, ministry, maturity, interests, etc., to facilitate fellowship, discipleship, and mentoring.
In weekly classroom sessions, teachings will be conducted at CC level (90 minutes), after which the CC will break into DMGs for discussions on the lessons (45 minutes), after which Q&A will be fielded at CC level (30 minutes).
Throughout the week outside the classroom, DMGs will continue to support and spur one another in mutual accountability towards kindred fellowship, spiritual formation, good works, field effectiveness, and missional excellence.
DMGs are what makes CC highly effective and transformational.
Thus, SAINT enables believers to become bearers and doers of God’s mighty and prevailing Word outside the classroom, not just learners inside the classroom.
